Drumscraw Tarn (Droopys Vieri x Bantiss Jymmi), reared by Paul McCusker, won an A3 at Hall Green showing superb early pace last night. Here she is pictured, courtesy of Dave Yanez, on her way to traps. She has now won 5 of her 15 starts. Her sister Black Betsy made her UK debut at Nottingham last week and was second beaten half a length. I have 3 bitches from the next litter ready to start work - still not leading and with the weather the way it has been - it may be a while yet.
Well done Tarn, she looks like she is concentrating hard in that pic. Betsy is out again on Saturday, same grade, same trap. I think she will have learnt a bit from last week's debut.
