I'm a bit late updating this but Pearl (Follow Her Lead) had her first outing last Wednesday at the Galway and Oranmore Coursing Club meeting which took place in Loughrea.
I took Pearl to slips which was a new experience for me, and it was certainly for Pearl. Pearl was ok from slips and matched Crafty Diva all the way for 100/150 yards before her opponent pulled away and won well in the end.
It was a learning experience, and Pearl will hopefully come on a ton for it on her next outing.
