Published in 1962 it probably needs the reader to make a few adjustments depending on what size he expects the pup to race at, but this table basically expects the average weight of a racedog to be 68lbs whereas these days the average is probably about 72lbs. So maybe a 5% increase or thereabouts so 2 or 3 pounds in most cases.
