How valuable are the stats?

I posted up the trap stats for open races at Wimbledon for the year to date as an aid for punters:

1. 8/48 16.7%
2. 6/57 12.8%
3. 9/46 19.6%
4. 3/46 6.5%
5. 8/48 16.7%
6. 15/48 31.3%

However the 16 Derby 2nd round heats weren't even remotely similar.

2. 6/16
3. 1/16
4. 3/16
5. 1/16
6. 2/16

I reckon there were some good dogs who managed to overcome the coffin at the weekend. I also think the current 6.5% is a bit of a statistical blip given that the number of races in the same isn't huge ... didn't stop me losing money opposing a couple of the 4 dogs though!
