I can't see any really attractive bets for thie ATP 1000 Masters mens event yet but I feel we could see a good performance from Ana Ivanovic in the ladies tournament. But there are no decent bets yet so I will hold fire.
The Racing Post tipsters went on record yesterday with their views. Dave Horgan recommended a bet on Tsonga at 20/1. His reasoning was that Tsonga was in form and loved the surface. He is also in the same half of the draw as out of form Djokovic. Good reasoning - but I don't fancy him. He also thinks if he gets to meet Nadal the World No.1 will be drained after last week's event and a hard draw. One to watch I think.
Adrian Humphries makes a better case for Serena Williams and advises a 7pt(!) win bet at 5/2 on the American, as well as a 1pt EW bet on Svetlana Kuznetzova at 25/1. I will keep the right side of Ivanovic and Zvonareva and again will not bet outright on this competition.
Recommendation: NO BETS OUTRIGHT
Will be looking to oppose Djokovic at the first available opportunity
