Tonight Spurs play Barcelona and Celtic take on Egyptian opposition in the Wembley Cup pre season tournament. Spurs have injuries in defence while Barca are likely to be ring rusty.
Spurs are 11/4 with Ladbrokes to beat Barcelona tonight which is big. Will have a bit of that.
It is also 8/13 that there will be 3 or more goals in the game. Will have a bit of that too.
I think that Barcelona are being given too much respect by the bookies and for that reason I am going to have a bet on both Spurs and Celtic to win outright. By my reckoning the Bhoys should win tonight meaning a draw vs Spurs could be good enough for them to win. Spurs can win tonight and will beat the Egyptians. Spurs at 100/30 to win the competition and Celtic are 7/2.

I watched in awe as Usain Bolt won the 100m at the Golden League meeting in Paris last night in a meeting record time of 9.79. He runs at Crystal Palace tonight and layers expect him to better that time. I'm not so sure and the 6/4 being offered that he wins in a time 9.80 or slower is worth taking.

The Steel City Cup first round is run at Sheffield with 6 heats. It is a good renewal on paper with 2 dofs - Ardkil Tunoco and Bandikoot Tipoki (try saying those two fast when you're pissed) joint favourites at 11/4 or thereabouts with the next best about 16/1.
Don't ask me why - it's a very strange one - but I have a feeling for Romeo Maldini in the 8.43. He is priced at 16/1 for this really hot heat which includes the aforementioned Tunoco.
