The Gold Collar Final is the highlight tonight at Belle Vue on a decent card televised on Sky Sports.
Here are my bets.
7.40. I am a big big fan of Blood Of Kings. This Droopys Scolari pup is the fastest dog to the bend in training, but I think he is likely to go off at odds on. For a puppy I couldn't consider backing him at odds on, and if I'm honest, despite the dogs in 1,2 & 3 not being of his class, I think if he doesn't get a ping break he could be hampered in the run up as he does want the rails. I'd say the winner could be on the outside. I am going to reluctantly LAY Blood Of Kings to lose a point.
RECOMMENDATION: LAY BLOOD OF KINGS @ SP
8.00. Blood Of Kings' litter brother Rotar Wing has broken the sprint clocks at Yarmouth and Peterborough in the last fortnight, and this dog looks a good bet at the 7/4 offered by Betfred this morning. If he breaks ahead of the early paced Farloe Flapjack he looks good. Officer Donagh outside needs to return to his early summer form to be a danger.
RECOMMENDATION: ROTAR WING 7/4 BETFRED
8.15. Charlie Lister's Was Not Me looks overpriced at 7/2 and has as good a chance as any in this contest.
RECOMMENDATION: WAS NOT ME 7/2 BETFRED
8.35 Deanridge Ammo has a great draw in the blue sheet and is a must bet at 5/2.
RECOMMENDATION: DEANRIDGE AMMO 5/2 PADDY POWER
2 winners and a profit of +1.08pts (+0.58pts at SP)
Blood Of Kings lost at 4/6 and Rotar Wing won at 5/4
