Setanta Tipping Competition Round 5: Cashmans Irish Laurels this Saturday Night

Once again, the winner will recieve 2 bags of Gain 28 courtesy of Gain, and points will go forward to the tipping league for which there is a prize fund of £500 donated by Steve Locke of Bonville Kennels.

The 3 races in this week's competition are the 9.10, 9.25, & 9.45.

Setanta Tipping League: Round 4 (Irish Derby Semis)

Entries now open.  Winner recieves 2 bags of Gain 28 courtesy of Willie Rigney at GAIN, and points go forward to the league table for which there is a prize fund of £500 kindly donated by Steve Locke of BONVILLE KENNELS.

The 3 races this week are the 9.15, 9.30 and 9.45 Shelbourne Park (www.igb.ie).  No other races, tevised or not, will count.

Contestants need to select a dog to win each of the 3 races - one of these should be your NAP for which there is a bonus.  Also, contestants need to select a dog - known as the BISMARCK - they think will start as clear favourite and lose.  If there is no clear favourite beaten on Saturday night there will be no Bismarck points scorable. The Bismarck selection must be different from your 3 tips.

Paradise in Kerry for Miami and the Meades

The Tralee Juvenile Classic was won by Paradise Miami - €25,000 for winning a novice event takes some beating. The son of Elite State has a big future.

The Setanta Tipping Competition had a decent entry for week one but not as big as I thought - 32 plus me - although entry is open still for anyone to join the league - next week is the Cesarawitch Final from Mullingar.
